JT's Automotive has always been a small, owner-operated auto repair shop that opened on March 1, 1997, at 5100 Shaw Avenue, on the Hill. Jon (JT), was 37 years old when he opened the shop. Eventually moved it to its current location at 7415 Eugene Avenue in Nov 2003.

After celebrating 25 years of running a successful business JT decided to retire in 2022 handing the reins over to Frank Lawson.

Frank Lawson, came on board in 2006 and learned a lot working with JT. In JT's words "No one knows the shop better, and by this time I was learning from Frank." JT has all the faith that Frank Lawson can, and will, carry the business to many more years of success.
